A couple returns to their new Papyrus White Mercedes-Benz 220SE Coupé after enjoying a leisurely lunch of zopf and fondue in Grindelwald, 1962. The W111 Series Coupé was introduced to the world at the 1961 Salon de Genève. Styled by Friedrich Geiger and Paul Bracq, it is one of the handsomest post-war Mercedes-Benz designs.

  1. Nice parking in the middle of the street. Yes it is beautiful. Paul Bracq went on to design the 230sl pagoda the BMW 630 and had a hand in the TGV high speed train.
